LEM Current Sensors LTS In Stock

LEM LTS25-NP closed-loop Hall current transducer, 25 A nominal with ±80 A range, single +5 V supply and PCB mounting.

The LTS25-NP is a LEM closed-loop Hall current transducer that runs from a single +5 V supply, which makes it a natural fit for modern digital control boards that do not provide a bipolar analog rail. The nominal primary current is 25 A with a measuring range up to about ±80 A, so it covers both the rated and the overload current of a compact motor drive, a solar boost stage or a power supply. The closed-loop (compensated) principle keeps accuracy high and offset drift low across the wide -40 °C to +85 °C operating range, and the factory-calibrated multi-range input lets the designer set the primary turns for the current of interest. Galvanic isolation separates the primary conductor from the low-voltage secondary, protecting the controller from common-mode voltage and improving safety. The single-supply operation simplifies the power architecture, and the compact PCB footprint fits dense inverter and power-supply layouts. The LTS25-NP is a frequent choice where an accurate current signal is required but a bipolar supply is not available, such as in servo drives, solar inverters and battery chargers. Every device BeiLuo ships is a genuine LEM part, factory-traceable and supplied with an import declaration, a certificate of origin and a RoHS compliance file, together with our FAE support for measuring-resistor selection and layout. Its operating range and single-rail interface make it one of the most versatile closed-loop current sensors in the LEM catalog.

FAE Professional Review

The LTS25-NP is our default recommendation when a customer's control board runs from a single +5 V rail but still needs closed-loop accuracy. The multi-range input and wide temperature range cover most compact drives and solar stages. Use the recommended PCB layout and keep the primary track symmetric to preserve accuracy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why choose a single-supply closed-loop sensor?

The single +5 V supply removes the need for a bipolar analog rail while keeping the accuracy and low drift of a closed-loop design. It suits digital control boards where only a logic supply is available.

Confirm the measuring range at your supply voltage before you finalize.

How does the wide temperature range help?

The -40 °C to +85 °C operating range covers industrial cabinets, outdoor solar equipment and many under-hood environments without de-rating the sensor itself. Offset and gain drift stay low across that range.

Still evaluate drift against your overall accuracy budget.
